Concepts to Stabilize Our Spiritual Thinking in These Last Days 

The God of the Old Testament is Christ. I Cor 10:1-11; John 5:58

 

The blood of Christ was available to all sinners from Adam to the end. Revelation 13:8

 

The law of God was present before Mt. Sinai. Genesis 2:17; 4:2-5; 7:2-3; 8:20; 26:5; 39:9

 

The gospel was in the OT. Hebrews 4:1-2; Galatians 3:8

 

Salvation and Evangelism was available for all people, not just the Jews. Isaiah 56:6-7

 

Salvation was by grace not by works in the OT. Genesis 6:8

 

The church of God was present from Eden to the end of time. Acts 7:38

 

The sanctuary service outline is fully necessary for salvation to be explained – Jesus is the Lamb of God and Jesus is our Great High Priest – John 1:29; Hebrews 7-8

 

Jesus came as a man in the flesh of Abraham and David. Romans 1:3; Hebrews 2:16; I John 4:1-3

 

All books of the Bible were deemed necessary by God. II Timothy 3:14-17; I Peter 1:10-12

 

God has established spiritual gifts to run till the end of time. Exodus 35:30-35; I Cor 12-14; Acts 2:14-21

 

Fruit verifies the origin of the plant. Matthew 7:15-27; 13:1-43; Mark 4:26-29; John 15:1-8

 

The everlasting covenant – or new covenant – was available since the promise of God in Genesis 3:15, 21

 

The law of God has not been changed at Calvary but continues as long as there is God. Matthew 5:17-19; 22:36-40; Romans 13:8-10; James 2:8-12; Revelation 14:12; 22:14-15
